Heather Sannes

Heather E. Sannes was the John and Kathleen Schreiber Foundation’s first Executive Director, and in 2023 she transitioned onto the Board of Directors.

Prior to building and leading the Foundation, Heather was a litigation paralegal at a large Chicago-based law firm, and then in-house at Walgreens Co. She earned a B.A. degree in Communication from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota.

Over the course of her career, Heather has served on various boards, most recently for the Lake County Community Foundation, Most Blessed Trinity Academy, and Ragdale, among others. 

Heather grew up in Lake Forest, where she now resides with her husband and daughter.
