Dana Buchweitz

Dana Buchweitz is Schreiber Philanthropy’s Vice President of Finance. She oversees all financial and accounting functions, supporting the sound management of Schreiber Philanthropy’s financial resources. Dana helps ensure that operations run smoothly, efficiently and are structured in a way to best support the mission and work.

Prior to transitioning to the philanthropy team in January 2024, Dana served as Director of Tax and Finance at the Schreiber family office. Before working with the Schreiber family, Dana had a career in public accounting focused on individual and partnership tax for seven years.

Dana holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Ohio State University, a master’s degree in taxation from DePaul University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).  After work hours, Dana enjoys spending her time outside, whether it’s playing beach volleyball, birding, or visiting National Parks.
